A toddler named Sue and her protector, Charley, romp through sunny fun in tall grass, they play inside on a rainy day, they go shopping with Mother and the twins, Terrie and Midge. They cook Christmas fudge. They go to the beach. Using relaxed verse, the author shows these two being part of a happy family. Mother and Daddy are there somewhere, not getting too much in the way, while Charley with his multiple interests protects the tribe at all times!
Many of the pages have an optional “Paint Me” feature for children to finger paint the pages
and create their own custom version of the book.
